I had a wonderfully relaxing afternoon tea at TheCupCake Boutique Sunday 11th April 10. I was there with friends of my daughter in law, celebrating the impending birth of her second child—an High Tea baby shower!
The decor and view outdoors is superb. Acres of vines with their autumn leaves falling and a genteel calmness over the whole property, other than the chattiness of women present.
The array of pastries, sandwiches, slices and cakes tasted delicious and were freshly home made.
I agree with the above comment by Lea Dec 10th . . pots of hot tea beautifully served —colourful bone china cups and saucers and coffee, if preferred. Presentation 10 out of 10.
I found the whole experience FAR better than that of high tea at Raffles, Singapore in 'Tiffin Room'-and better value for money too. Yes, Raffles has history, but, the food and venue in our lovely Adelaide southern countryside at The CupCake Boutique, Aldinga, SURPASSED 'Tiffin Room' by miles.
I am a VERY proud South Australian! Well done!

Thanks, Lorelei! Glad you thought it was just as lovely as I did! :) -- Lea
[This post was edited ever so slightly to remove personal details]
